What is counselling

What is counselling and can it help me?

Are you finding the challenges of life difficult to cope with?
Are you feeling stressed or anxious?
Are you struggling with a relationship?
Would you like to talk to someone who will really listen to you?

Counselling offers an opportunity to explore your thoughts following an event and your consequent emotions and behaviour.

Counselling is a collaborative process. I will endeavour to help you find resources within yourself so that you can work through what is troubling you – whether this is something current or in the past.

I offer a safe non–judgmental and peaceful space where you can talk to me knowing that I will offer you the highest level of confidentiality.

Counselling can help you grow and change and enable you to manage challenges in a constructive way. Whilst acknowledging the pain of your difficulties, my desire is to help you find a way to live your life with a very real hope for the future.
